Old Testament Theology (7th - 12)(Pre-recorded & Virtual)
Old Testament Theology Course Information Format: Online (Pre-recorded Lectures) Schedule: 15-week semester Lectures: 2 per week (20–30 minutes each) Grade Level: Middle & High School Type: Theology Elective Tuition: $180 per semester Course Introduction This course explores the Old Testament as one unified story that reveals the heart and character of God. Rather than treating each book as a disconnected piece, students will learn how the entire Old Testament fits together, what each part says about who God is, how He engages with people, and how it all points toward the hope of redemption. We will look at major books and themes across the Old Testament, from Genesis through the prophets, asking questions like: What does this book reveal about the nature of God? How does this story fit into the larger picture of Scripture? What is God saying to His people and to us through these texts? Each week includes two short, pre-recorded lectures that students can watch on their own schedule. Optional reflection prompts will be provided to help deepen engagement. The course is designed to be flexible, thoughtful, and theologically grounded. Learning Outcomes By the end of the course, students will: Be able to recite all 39 books of the Old Testament in order Give a concise, general summary of each book’s content Understand the key theological themes that run throughout the Old Testament See how the Old Testament builds the foundation for the New Testament and the story of Christ |
