ABOUT THE CLUB
The National Math Club is a supportive, non-competitive and social space for students to build their confidence in math!
We will play games, compete in challenges and most importantly, have FUN.
Students will collaborate on a math project in the Spring Semester to earn Gold Level Status.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION TEAM
The competition series is the country's premier math competition.
With 4 levels of competition--school, chapter, state and national--
Each level of competition is comprised of 4 rounds - Sprint, Target, Team and Countdown Round.
Through guided lessons, friendly competitions, and team collaboration, students prepare for the MathCounts Competition Series!
4 - dedicated, enthusiastic students will be chosen to represent our DCHE team!
$40 registration fee due in Nov. No additional registration fees needed to advance to higher levels.
*Chapter competition in February, State Competition in March, National Competition in May*

Students in grades 6–8 who enjoy math, challenges, and teamwork

Note: If your child is not a true 6th-8th grade student they can still be apart of the club but they will not be eligible to compete on our competition team.
*If a student plans to bring their own snacks or not eat snacks during our meetup time then this fee is not required. I will accommodate special snack request.
