Course Description
This course is designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary to lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Students explore physical fitness, nutrition, personal health, mental and emotional well-being, and decision-making skills related to health and safety. The curriculum emphasizes lifelong physical activity through participation in various individual and team sports, exercises, and wellness activities. Students also learn about the impact of lifestyle choices on overall health, including substance use prevention, stress management, disease prevention, and personal safety.
