Smail Ferroudj began boxing at age 9, competed in track and field and cross country in middle school, and later played volleyball before turning to soccer, which he played professionally for over 15 years. Today, Smail works as a special education teacher, coaches 4th and 5th grade soccer at his school, serves as a professional soccer coach, and referees grassroots soccer games.

From the boxing ring to the classroom, Smail's career reflects a lifelong commitment to discipline, mentorship, and service to his students and community.
